Poland joined the European Union in May 2004 and is therefore governed by the same set of standards for medical treatment as all other EU member countries, including Britain. However, in Britain there is currently no legislation specifically governing cosmetic and plastic surgery. This means that whilst there are very skilled cosmetic surgeons operating in England, there are also many general surgeons and doctors undertaking complex cosmetic surgery procedures. This is not the case in Poland, where cosmetic surgery is strictly controlled and can only be carried out by licensed surgeons, specifically trained in the field of cosmetic surgery. Poland is now internationally widely regarded as a highly reputable destination for low cost, high quality cosmetic surgery.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR SURGERY ABROAD
Flights depart from various UK airports: from East Midlands, Liverpool, Bristol, Stansted, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Shannon and Dublin with ryanair.com and from Luton and Doncaster with wizzair.com. Flights from the UK cost less than £100 return and take only 2 hours.

On arrival, everything will be organised for you. A waiting taxi will take you to the modern clinic, only 10 minutes from the airport, where you will have a tour of the clinic and your individual consultation in preparation for your procedure. You will then be booked into a beautiful hotel near to the clinic for your stay in Poland, or you may prefer to stay in our new and well equipped self-catering apartment opposite the clinic. Friends or family are welcome too.

AFFORDABLE PLASTIC SURGERY
Our prices are so very affordable purely due to the surgery being in Poland. This helps our surgeon (Adam Kalecinski) to keep the costs down. The same procedure undertaken by our surgeon when he practiced in England 3 years ago would have cost two or three times as much. Our prices are very reasonable for a surgeon who is trained to consultant level. We know that Adam is more skilled and trained than others offering affordable cosmetic surgery abroad. In addition, to try to keep costs down for you, reductions can be given for people considering more than one procedure.

If your preference is to stay in a hotel the Art Hotel is a 4 star hotel in Wroclaw with which Professional Beauty has agreed an exclusive rate. They can offer economy rooms for one person weekdays 310 zlotys (£60.00), 2 persons 350 zlotys (£67.00), weekends 1 person 270 zlotys (£52.00), 2 persons 290 zlotys (£56.00). Please quote Professional Beauty when booking as this is a promotional rate. After your surgery this hotel can offer help that you might need including 24hr service, painkillers, room service or any other facilities that you may require. Rest assured that the hotel will provide assistance to speed your recovery and make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Another option is the two-star hotel, Hotel Solo Plus which is within walking distance from the clinic. Rooms have en-suite toilets and showers. There are also cheaper rooms at a part of the hotel called 'The Solo' but it is definitely worth paying more for comfort, so please make it clear that you want the Solo Plus on our booking form as these rooms have been updated. Prices are as follows: Overnight staying in the single room for 1 person 100 zlotys (£23.00), Overnight staying in the double room for 1 or 2 persons 120 zlotys (£27.00) and Extra Bed 40 zlotys (£16.00). However there is no restaurant at this hotel - it is like a travel lodge.

There are restaurants at the Magnolia Park, a large shopping centre next to the clinic and a large Tesco.

If you would prefer to book your own hotel any hotel in the city centre is fine. The website http://www.booking.com/ has all the city centre hotels reduced in price. The choice of hotel is totally up to you, everyone has their own budget. Please make sure you do book somewhere as Wroclaw is a popular city and the hotels get full very quickly.
